MOISTURE MINDER®

Homeowner! don't let a sneaky leaking refrigerator, dishwasher or a washing machine
ruin your beautiful Hardwood Floors. Catch that leak at the first drop. How!

Answer!

Roll out a
under the appliances!

The Moisture Minder® System is a new electronic device attached to one or two Fibretec™ mats to detect water leaks in concealed spaces behind or under appliances that convey or use water e.g. the ice maker of a refrigerator. Because of the extensive damage that can occur when even a small amount of water leaks onto a hardwood floor and sub-floor, over a period of time, we have developed the Moisture Minder® to alert the homeowner of any unseen leaks. The System has a large "footprint" of 80 square inches to give you great protection in a large area. This can be increase to 160 square inches by purchasing an extra mat.

Should be installed

by:

Flooring contractors:
When a hardwood flooring contractor installs or refinishes a floor in a kitchen or laundry. He disconnects the water and connects it when he re-installs the appliance. Thus creating the potential for leaks and damage. Hear from a flooring contractor Geste Harms. "I receive three calls a week to do estimates for damaged floors caused by leaking appliances. It has happened to me a few times and cost me to redo the floors. I install a Moisture Minder® for cheap insurance and explain to my customers the added protection from leaks and they usually pay half the extra cost for the long term leak protection."
Home builders:
You finished the house; all the floor coverings are in including the beautiful hardwood floors. You're about to
close on the house when you see the hardwood floor
cupped in front of the refrigerator. Now you need to
go in and redo the floors or allow the new homeowner
to move in and then move out all his furniture to redo
the floor. What a hassle, install a Moisture Minder® and
be warned of any slow leaks.

Appliance Installers and dealers.
Why take the risk of a water leak and increasing your liability insurance. Install a Moisture Minder® and if there is a leak, even a drop an hour, it will register and alert the homeowner to call you.
Homeowner Insurance: With increasing insurance costs and higher deductible the Moisture Minder® System prevents claims that can drive up or cancel your homeowners insurance. The average Hardwood Floor repair for a small leak of a refrigerator runs $1200.00-$3000.00 the money spent on the Moisture Minder® System is insignificant in comparison.
